![]() ![]() And talking of mods, I hafta say did toss the OE spec Kenda tires before I hit 4,000 miles (cos they were crap & completely worn out!) and I've been successfully & very happily running 'real' tires ever since, getting better performance in all respects & they're cheaper too, as well as lasting/performing over 3 times as long to boot. ![]() I'm still ryding my 2013 RT Ltd with significantly more miles on it than yours now simply because I've never found enough of a reason to upgrade it in any of the newer models! Yeah, having a real alternator might be 'nice', but not enough to get over the fact that the 1330 motor is a real disappointment to me, aand no matter what you do to it/its inlet/exhaust systems, it still sounds like a run-away sewing machine!Īs far as I'm concered (& the Child Bride agrees ) my V-twin 998 RT is far more exciting to ryde than any of the 1330's we've tried, even the modded machines. If Mike is still there, do NOT work with him. I didn't find that but it could have been the their (sorry.salesman) I worked with. I'm told they're pretty easy to work with. I think they're out of the Chicago area and they offer free delivery of the new ride and pick up of your trade (if you go that route). There are quite a few on here (not me) who have purchased from iMotorsports. The base models are going for about $24k minus whatever the dealer will give you in trade (which won't be much, maybe $6k?). More than likely, the 2020s are gone and you'll find a 2021. If you can find a 2020 base model, you might get away w/$20k. Same for 2021 except for the one year Sea to Sky which is based off the Limited.įarkles won't get you much, if any, more money unless you can find someone who wants exactly those farkles. For 2020, the RT only came in (2) flavors, base/standard and Limited. 1330 motor, improved suspension, better dash, same crappy tires. Should I keep it or trade in?Huge improvements in 10 years. If I traded in for a new RTS I would probably have to lay out another 20k. Kelly Blue Book value is much less than I would expect even with lots of farkles. In 10 years I _only_ have about 25k miles. Had a 2008, then traded in for a 2010 RTS back in 2010. ![]()
